Bohusläns museum!
The museum is a foundation consisting of the Western Götaland Regional Council, the municipality of Uddevalla and the Bohuslän Local Heritage Association. Since 2006, Bohusläns museum is part of Västarvet – the administration for the nature and cultural heritage of Västra Götaland. The museum has about 300 000 visitors per year. Its assignment is to preserve, cherish and present what characterizes Bohuslän as a coastal area and borderland. The museum is renowned for its extensive activities and programs, the free entrance and the generous opening hours.

Archives, museum collections primarily with items from Bohuslän, a
department for answering questions concerning ancient remains, historical buildings and preservation in general.
